Visit Crystal River’s conservation-focused aquarium to learn about local manatee protection and the collaborative efforts behind it.
The exhibit highlights partnerships with U.S. Fish & Wildlife, local organizations and permitted manatee tour companies, and offers hands-on, family-friendly displays. Guests can hear how manatees communicate, meet local turtles, learn about invasive species, view seagrass ecosystems and discover practical stewardship tips such as anchoring to protect seagrass and the environmental impact of plastic. Optional boat tours to nearby animal refuges are available for more nature viewing.
